Everyone has a story.
God put it on my heart to share my story through my writing.
In addition to blog posts, here you will find published books and works in progress.
I pray my stories will be an encouragement to you!

Living Uprooted: Encouragement for the Missionary Wife
To encourage and equip women going into missions with their spouses by answering some questions they may not know to ask, bringing to light potential challenges of moving overseas, and providing suggestions to minimize the stress.
I was ready to be a single missionary in Ukraine, providing physical therapy for disabled children and education for their caregivers.
But my meticulously laid plans were about to get a God-sized edit.
When my senior pastor suggested I pray about marrying Bryan, a missionary pilot in Africa, I thought God was crazy. After much thought and prayer and scrolling through Bryan’s online social page, I chose to join him. And I was completely unprepared for the path God had laid before me. Bryan and I were, in a sense, “paired up in a cramped cockpit, trying to figure out how to work, live, and be together all day, every day without the luxury of a handbook.”
During our first few years living in Africa, our family faced many hardships and tragedies. Unfortunately, I felt I was not equipped to handle some of the difficulties we had gone through.
After searching for books or resources that could have prepared me for what I experienced, I couldn’t find anything published that could have helped me prepare beforehand.
God put it on my heart to write about my experiences to encourage and equip other women preparing to go into missions alongside their husbands.
This isn’t your average missionary story—this is a missionary manual for spouses who want to best support their husbands on the mission field. Living Uprooted: Encouragement for the Missionary Wife is the book I wish I’d had and is intended to prepare the next missionary wife for her unique role in overseas missions.

Behind the Book
This was a project between projects. during my research to put together a Bible study to go along with Living Uprooted, I came across a fill-in-the-blank outline for God’s plan of salvation. I thought it would be a great idea for kids, so my son and I worked on it together. I adapted it for his age group, and he helped me choose the graphics and design.
